UCSF nets $20M gift for new Mission Bay building
A $20 million gift to UCSF from philanthropist
will help pay for a new building housing the university's global health sciences program while adding to an awesome legacy by the co-founder of Duty Free Shoppers.
In all, Feeney's Atlantic Philanthropies has given more than $292 million to the
University of California, San Francisco
, making him the single-largest contributor to any campus in the UC system, the university said, and arguably the granddaddy of UCSF's Mission Bay campus.
